Burj Al Arab

Transit for about 15 hours at Dubai International Airport. Went out to Emirates Mall, Burj Al Arab and Al Ghurair Mall. So tired to travel around with that kind of weather though... After Maghrib ( we spent about 6 hours in Dubai) and dinner, went back to Airport. Struggling to get a taxi from Al Ghurair..finally Alhamdulillah managed to get one. so lucky, the taxi driver said they were demonstrating against the government to have their monthly pay rather than the current system which is based on commission...

Day 3..Presentation and Jalan2..

|
Alhamdulillah........my paper presentation went smoothly...so.. took the opportunity to go and visit several important places in Muscat. Departed around quite late afternoon from the hotel and juz managed to visit the Grand Masjid, Al Matrah again for shopping, Bait Al Zubair, Sultan Al Qabuus Palace and Old Muscat City..

Conference @ Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, Day 1

|
went to present paper at International Conference on Harnessing Technology ICHT 2008 at Crowne Plaza hotel Muscat. Pretty much worry about the trip luckily hubby could be able to accompany during the 4D3N stay. Oman is such a nice country. Full with history and Rassulullah SAW had visited Oman long time ago for Dakwah. Feel like we were in a Jejak Rasul mission though....Hope that we will be able to go to Makkah pulak nanti...InsyaAllah.....

Cameron Highlands revisited
|
|
We had a short trip 2D1N to Cameron Highlands on the way back to Kedah. Really had a great time together. Played pool in the night at hotel's lobby...did play quite well this time...my sifu (Hafiz) is really a good trainer as well as a competitor....thanks honey for the patience.....

5th UniKL Convocation Ceremony

This was my first experience to attend UniKL convocation and on top of that, i have been invited to be one of the academic delegate entering the hall before the VIPs and VVIPs. Such a nice and memorable experience. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF MY BELOVED STUDENTS...
